LIST OF QUALIFICATIONS IN SOUTH AFRICA

The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is the national body responsible for the quality assurance of qualifications in South Africa. SAQA maintains the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), which is a framework that classifies all qualifications in South Africa.
The NQF has ten levels, with level 1 being the lowest level and level 10 being the highest level. Certificates are typically awarded at level 4 or 5, diplomas are typically awarded at level 6 or 7, and degrees are typically awarded at level 8 or higher.
