The invitation to apply for the Afrimat bursary goes out to South African students who wish to receive funding for their 2024 studies. Applicants for the bursary must meet the criteria set out by the company.

Afrimat Bursary Application Requirements

  • Applications must come from learners in Matric (Grade 12) in 2023.
  • Applicants must have achieved a minimum average of 70% in Mathematics and Science on Grade 11 final Report.
  • Must be from the Northern Cape province of South Africa.
  • Must be in possession of a valid South African ID
  • Bursary applicants must provide proof that they have been accepted to study at any of the accredited South African Universities.
  • The Afrimat bursary is accepted on a provisional basis, provided that the candidate passes their Matric with an average of 70% in Mathematics and Science and receives final acceptance at an accredited University in South Africa.
  • Applicants will forfeit the bursary should they not meet the requirements after being provisionally accepted.
