Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa Bursary 2024

The Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa (PSA) Bursary is made available to successful applicants who wish to further their studies in pharmacy related fields of study. PSA bursary opportunities for 2024 academic year are now open for applications.

Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa Bursary Study Fields

In order for your application to be considered by the PSA you must be studying or intend studying towards pharmacy related course. For PSA to pay for your studies, they must be undertaken in one of South Africa’s recognized institution of higher learning. This is one of medical bursaries that are available in South Africa for 2024 academic year.

PSA Bursary Eligibility Criteria

The bursary will cater for undergraduate and postgraduate studies undertaken in 2024 academic year.

Undergraduate applications must be for a Bachelor Pharmacy degree.

Postgraduate applications must be for Master or Doctorate in pharmacy related field of studies.

The Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa bursary is allocated on annual bases and get renewal upon submission of latest academic records.

  • PSA bursary applicants must be South African citizens
  • You must be in possession Matric
  • Applicants must be starting their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study
  • You must be a PSSA student member (membership is free, email [email protected] for more info)
  • You must have passed all your previous subjects/ modules
  • You must have achieved at least a minimum of 60% at mid-year

How To Apply for PSA Bursary?

Undergraduates Applicants

All undergraduates bursary applications open in June 2022 and will close on May 2023.

Student must submit their certified copies of the following documents:

  • SA Identity document (certified copy)
  • Certified tertiary academic record
  • A 1 page letter of motivational from a pharmacy lecturer

Postgraduate Bursary Application

Interested students must download the application form online

Submit clear copies of the following documents:

  • SA Identity document (certified copy)
  • Certified tertiary academic record
  • A 1 page letter of motivational from a pharmacy lecturer

Complete forms must be returned in either of the following ways:
