FASSET Bursary Description
The FASSET bursary is offered by the Financial and Accounting Services Sector Education and Authority of South Africa. FASSET hereby invites applications from students who wish to further their studies in 2023 academic year.
All applications must reach the SETA before or on 28 February 2023. Late applications will not be considered. This is one of government bursaries that are on offer to applicants who meet all the requirements.
FASSET Bursary Fields of Study
Application that will be considered for this bursary must fall under the following study fields:
University Qualifications
- Information Qualification
- Commercial and Accounting Qualifications
- Actuarial Science
TVET College Qualifications
- Business Related Fields of Study
What Does FASSET Bursary Cover?
Successful applicants will have the following cost paid for by the bursary:
- tuition
- textbooks
- accommodation
- meals
Bursary Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants must be in possession of Matric/Grade 12
- Bursaries are granted to first year students
- You must be accepted by one of Universities, universities of technology or TVET colleges of South Africa
- Demonstrated strong academic capabilities
- You household total income combined must not exceed R600 000 per year
- Only unemplyed applicants will be considered

28 February 2023 is the closing date for all applications and late applications will not be accepted.
