Hulamin Bursary Description
Hulamin bursary is offered to successful applicants on annual basis. These are made available to selected disciplines that are key to the company’s key performance and sustainability goals. Only South African citizens are eligible to submit applications for this funding opportunity.
It is the discretion for Hulamin to consider only students who are studying towards a degree qualification. A list of qualifications that are approved for the bursary are listed as you continue reading.
About Hulamin
Hulamin is South Africa’s semi-fabricator and fabricator of aluminium products. It was founded in year 1935 and has its headquarters based in South Africa. By year 2016 it was recorded that it employed around 1934 staff who sustain the livelihood of their families.
Based in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu Natal, the company remains the supplier of a significant proportion of the world’s ultra high-end aluminium products.

What Does Hulamin Bursary Cover?
The invitation for this bursary is extended to students who wish to pursue the following studies in year 2023:

- Tuition Fees
- Accommodation
- Meal Fees
- Book Fees
- Annual Cash Allowance
Who Can Apply For The Bursary?
- You must be a South African citizen
- The bursary caters for individuals from previously disadvantaged background
- You must be resident of Pietermaritzburg or its surrounding area are eligible
Students who are in Grade 12 must have:
- Achieve a minimum B symbol in Mathematics (higher grade), Physical Science (higher grade) and English for an engineering degree
- OR a minimum B symbol in Accountancy and English for an accounting degree
The Hulamin bursary is for students pursuing a degree qualification.
Applicants for this bursary must meet the entry requirements at an approved University within the boarders of South Africa.
