ABOUT ASTRON BURSARY PROGRAMME 2024
The bursary invites applicants who wish to further their studies in 2024. They have financial constrains preventing them to complete. Applications must come from students and learners in Built Environment, Commerce, Engineering or Science studies.
The Astron Energy Bursary takes care of some of your expenses like tuition, accommodation, prescribed texbooks textbooks, accommodation and meals. They also pay for other approved neccessities while studying.
Applicants must be under the age of 35 and be South African citizens in possession of Matric.The Astron Energy Bursary will cover the cost of successful applicants pursuing a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or Masters Degree.
ASTRON BURSARY FIELDS OF STUDY
Applicants for the bursary programme must be pursuing one of the following fields of study:
- Engineering Studies,
- Built Environment Studies,
- Commerce Studies or
- Science Studies

You will be considered for the bursary programme if you are:
- A South African citizen
- Under 35 years old of age
- Presently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Be studying or intend on studying on full-time basis
- Studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, Masters, etc)
- Studying towards your qualification-level for the first time
- Applicants studying or accepted to study at any registered higher education institution in South Africa
- Present a strong academic record
- Your application will not be considered if you are repeating your qualification or subjects
WHAT DOES ASTRON ENERGY BURSARY COVER?
Successful bursary applicants will receive the following bursary benefits:
- tuition fees,
- accommodation,
- meals and
- additional approved study neccessities
HOW TO APPLY FOR ASTRON ENERGY BURSARY?
Students interested in this bursary programme must apply online via Astron Energy Bursary Application 2024.
Your application for 2024 must be accompanied by documents listed below to help assess your request for funding:
- ID document
- Grade 11 final report and Matric term 2 report, if currently in Matric (school stamp required)
- Matric certificate, if completed Matric
- Most recent academic transcript, if currently studying (certified copy)
- Proof that you have been accepted/provisionally acceptance/ provisional accepted by an accredited institution for 2024, if not yet studying (on institutions letterhead)
- Proof of other bursary awards or NSFAS if applicable – bursary agreement/ letter/ offer
- Masters/Doctoral students: recommendation letter by supervisor
- Parents or guardians ID documents or death certificates if deceased (certified copies)
ASTRON ENERGY BURSARY CLOSING DATE
All applications must be receive before or on 1 November 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
